Blank Studio is a wedding, event and small business design and printing studio, offering custom design and print services for stationery, signage, marketing materials and more.

What services / products do you offer?
Weddings & Events: Wedding invitations, menus, name cards, welcome signs, seating charts, table numbers, bar menus and other on-the-day stationery and signage.
Small Businesses: Business cards, flyers, stickers, posters, signage, promotional materials and more.

I’ve always dreamt of being my own boss and having my own business, so when a WAGSS member chooses to book with Blank Studio, you’re genuinely helping make a little girl’s dream come true. Every booking means so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support!
Why did you start your business?
I’ve worked in printing and design for over 15 years, so one day I thought, why can’t I have my own? I’d always wanted to work for myself, so I decided to take the leap and start Blank Studio.
What were you doing before this?
My background has always been in design and print, but I’ve worked across a few different areas, including property marketing and newspaper printing. I’ve always loved the creative side of the industry, and after years of working for other businesses, I decided it was time to give running my own a go.
What are you most proud of?
Honestly, every lovely review I receive where someone tells me how happy they are with their order feels like a personal achievement. Knowing that I’ve created something that someone loves, especially for such an important occasion, is what makes all the hard work worth it.
What has business ownership taught you?
People really do love ghosting you 😂 You quickly learn not to take it personally, and that not every enquiry will turn into an order. But honestly, it’s also taught me to back myself, be patient and appreciate the people who do choose to support my business.
What is something people don't see behind the scenes?
Probably how often I’m replying to emails and enquiries at 11pm on a Tuesday 😂 Running your own business definitely doesn’t always mean sticking to 9–5!

Down to earth, hardworking and friendly.

Mints, lipliner and earplugs.

Quick fire business round!
Most chaotic business-owner moment?
Probably being overseas and still running the business from the other side of the world. I was waking up at 3am to make sure orders were finished and everything was sorted. Definitely chaotic, but also pretty cool knowing I could keep the business running while I was away!
Something you thought would be easy — but wasn't?
The quiet times! I stress when I’m busy and I stress when it’s quiet, still trying to find that happy medium!
One business task you secretly love?
Definitely designing. I love sitting down with an idea and turning it into something that actually works. Seeing the finished design come together is probably my favourite part of the job.
One task you'd happily outsource forever?
Packing!
Words of wisdom for other women...
What advice would you give a woman thinking about starting her own business?
Just give it a go! Stop waiting. You will never know until you try.
What would you tell the version of yourself who was just getting started?
Again, just do it. You can always go back to a 9-5.
What does women supporting women mean to you?
It’s about genuinely wanting to see other women do well. Supporting their businesses, recommending them, sharing their work, celebrating their wins and being there for each other, especially on the days when running a business feels a bit hard.
