The ladies at our sword fighting club were talking about how we encourage more women to try out historical fencing. So, we started running ladies only introductory sword fighting classes! These classes offer an opportunity to learn a martial art in a women’s only environment with a great instructor to participant ratio. The intent of these classes is to spend 1.5hrs to get familiar with holding a sword, so you can decide if you’re keen to join our co-ed sessions. These classes are held monthly at Ursa Major HEMA Academy in Balcatta.

These classes are held monthly on Saturdays. The upcoming classes are: 29th August, 26th September, 24th October and 28th November.
